Married to my husband, Joe, since 2005, we are originally from New York City, moving to Mooresville in 2010 and love the life we have here. It is a great place to raise a family. We have 2 daughters, 13 & 19. Our youngest attended The Bridge Academy from age 2 to graduating at the age of 5. We have 2 dogs, Ginger and Ella. One of my favorite hobbies is reading. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my daughters play softball and basketball.
I have been in the education field since 1999 and serving with the preschool since 2011.
I have 26+ years experience and training in Early Childhood education and Childhood Psychology.
I am called to serve here to plant seeds spiritually and academically. I enjoy watching the preschoolers learn about Jesus and grow on a daily basis.
“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it” Proverbs 22:6

Hello, my name is Talesa Carter. I am excited to join the amazing program at The Bridge Academy as the 2’s assistant teacher. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Levi, and we have two beautiful daughters, Xoey and Evelyn.
I believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and encouraging environment where they feel valued and excited to learn each day. I understand that children learn in different ways and deserve patience, kindness, and individualized support. I look forward to building meaningful relationships with my students and their families and watching each child grow, learn, and thrive.

Hi everyone! My name is Aubrey Radley! I am super excited to be the 3’s Lead Teacher!
I have worked with children of all ages as a substitute teacher, youth coach, and part-time nanny. This has taught me the importance of patience, engagement, and hands-on learning. When I’m not teaching, you can find me working on DIY crafts, tending to my greenhouse, or chasing after my own busy 2.5-year-old boy.
I can’t wait to watch your little ones learn, play, and grow this year!

My husband and I have three wonderful children, two sons and one daughter. We also have a one-year-old grandson who is the love of our lives, and we are excitedly awaiting another grandchild on the way. I have had the privilege of serving in my church’s nursery and Vacation Bible School for many years, and I have always had a passion for caring for and encouraging young children.
